The newly opened contemporary Italian restaurant, Obicà Mozzarella Bar, Pizza e Cucina in Santa Monica, hosted the after-party for the premiere of Tumbledown, a romantic dramedy starring Jason Sudeikis and Rebecca Hall.
Joe Manganiello, who also starred in the film, attended the party hand-in-hand with wife Sofia Vergara. The newly-weds stayed out past midnight as they and other guests enjoyed mouthwatering Italian delicacies from Obicà, including their specialty, the freshest and most authentic mozzarella in town.
Other clear favorites included decadent spoonful’s of stracciatella burrata topped with caviar and the perfectly seasoned risotto infused with saffron from Milan (Vergara was a fan), a top selection of Italian wines, fresh juice cocktails and more.
Other prominent celebrities who attended the after-party included Carol actress Carrie Brownstein, who took a break from awards season to attend the premiere, as did Marcia Gay Harden, Brittany Snow, and Academy Award-nominated director Catherine Hardwicke. They buzzed about the restaurant’s modern design and the party’s electric atmosphere, especially for a Monday night, with some sticking around until 1:30AM.
